Senior Specialist - Program & Project Management (Lead Data Engineer)
Pittsburgh, PA (3 days onsite/week)
Perm Position

Responsibilities:

• Act as a leader for the team to design data models, manage deliverables, and report to management.
• Overall lead for managing delivery and expectations.
• Provide solutions for the requirements, including data modeling, writing SQL queries for data analytics, and creating data pipelines.
• Work with business teams to understand requirements and coordinate accordingly.
• Construct analytics and reporting for internal client platforms using ThoughtSpot (or Power BI) and Snowflake.
• Design and build scalable data pipelines and data models.
• Create reports and dashboards to effectively communicate insights and trends to internal clients.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business analysts, and product managers.
• Maintain and optimize the data infrastructure.
• Continuously improve the accuracy and reliability of analytics and reporting.

• Understanding of Snowflake is a must, but no need to develop anything in Snowflake.
• Experience in data modeling, writing SQL queries for data analytics, and creating data pipelines.
• Experience working with ThoughtSpot or Power BI, including creating visualizations and dashboards.
• Python skills are good to have.

• 8 - 10 total years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in data modeling and reporting is desired.
